AnimA TV

The idea was already born in 1998. At that time we started to produce the first AnimA episode for iSTUFF, the student television station at the Technical University of Ilmenau. We talked about topics like 3D, compositing, VFX and postproduction methods in general. We tried all kind of presentationforms to make AnimA unique and a playground for future activities. We recieved the title of being „kess und sexy”, which means perky and – of course – sexy.

All of the crew from university has become professionelles and we are still enthusastic about the magic of pictures rising emotions and the techniques involved. This website shows our passion we would like to share with you.

The podcast is the main part of the website. We want to show animations, VFX and passion. It is not a podcast for professionells only, we invite everyone to get involved in the faszinating world of animation. We want to entertain, we will experiment, we are different and we inform.We are independent and do not take everything serious. Fun for you and us is our main goal. We have no written profil – except the stuff you read here. To entertain you and inform you in a unique way is our mission.

You can also contribute to the website: Just sent us exciting links, demo reels or comments. Every production has already VFX involved. Sometimes they have been done so badly that it is exciting to see how technolgy has evolved.

By the way, we are very concered about copyrights laws, therefore every link or picture has to be checked and release before publication.
